Nissan has launched Leaf, all-new 100% electric, zero-emission Car in Japan. Nissan LEAF Price will start from 3,764,250 yen, including the consumption tax. Nissan LEAF is 100% electric Car is equipped with high response 80kW AC synchronous electric motor, 24 kWh lithium-ion battery, 3.3 kW onboard charger and 120 V portable trickle charging cable.

The new Nissan Leaf features 5 doors, 4-wheel power-assisted front vented and rear disk brakes, 4-wheel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Brake Assist (BA), electronic parking brake, 16” 5-spoke machined-finish aluminum-alloy wheels, fog lights, RearView Monitor, automatic on/off headlights and more.

Nissan Leaf has 5-passenger seating capacity, 3-spoke steering wheel, AM/FM/CD/MP3 audio system with MP3/WMA playback capability, XM Satellite Radio 4, auxiliary audio input jack 5, 6 speakers and USB connection port for iPod interface and other compatible devices.

Price and Availability: Nissan LEAF will be available for sale from December 20th at Nissan dealers in Japan. Later on this 100% electric, zero-emission Car will be available in United States, in the same month, and expected to arrive in European markets in early 2011. Release in other global markets is set for 2012.
