Nikon India has launched a new Digital SLR camera, the Nikon D7000. Nikon D7000 is equipped with a new 16.2 mega pixel, CMOS image sensor and a new image processing engine EXPEED 2 to capture high-definition images for superior image quality and 1920 ×1080p at 24 fps video recording.
Nikon D7000 has a compact, elegant body, 2,016-pixel RGB metering sensor, 39-point AF system, D-Movie function for recording and editing of full HD movies. Nikon D7000 kit will have AF-S DX 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR lens.
Other features of the Nikon D7000 include double SD memory card slot, Rechargeable EN-EL15 Li-ion Battery, Live view function, High-speed continuous shooting of up to 100 shots at approximately 6 fps and Nikon’s image browsing and editing software, ViewNX 2.

Nikon D7000 is priced at Rs. 89,950 (with AF-S 18-105mm VR Kit Lens) & INR 74,450 (Body only).
