Dell Streak Android tablet launched

Dell has announced the launch of its first Android tablet latest tablet dubbed as Dell Streak in the UK. Dell Streak is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and runs Google Android 1.6 operating system. It will be upgrade to Google Android 2.2 later this year.

Dell Streak tablet features a 5 inch capacitive multi-touch WVGA display, 5 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, VGA front facing camera, 2GB of internal memory and microSD card support for up to 32GB.



Dell Streak tablet also comes with a HSDPA/HSUPA, GSM/EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity, built-in GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, Integrated Google Maps with turn-by-turn navigation, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook integration.

Dell Streak will be available across the UK at O2 stores and The Carphone Warehouse, and later in the month at Dell.co.uk. Pricing and data plans for the UK will be announced by O2 further on of availability. Dell Streak will be available in the U.S later this summer.
