Toshiba today announced the launch of its first Android platform MID, the AC100 in India. The AC100 is also the first Android device with a full-size keyboard. Toshiba AC100 is powered by the Nvidia’s Tegra processor and Android 2.1 OS.
Toshiba AC100 features a 10.1-inch Clear SuperView LED backlight display with 1024×600 pixel resolution, supports 1080p HD video, 512MB DDR2 333MHz RAM, 8GB Flash storage and Up to 32GB SSD. It also comes with a Toshiba Home Menu, a customizable desktop with widgets and shortcuts an Location based switchable desktop.
Toshiba AC100 also features Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, USB 2.0, Mini USB, Card Reader (SD, MMC), Audio out/Mic in combo socket, HDMI andd 1.3 MP camera. The MID measures 262.1mm x 189.8mm x 14 / 21mm and weighs 870 grams.
