D-Link Launches Compact and Affordable DCS-930L Wireless N Network Camera

D-Link has announced that it has commenced shipping a compact and affordable network camera, the D-Link DSC-930L Wireless Network Camera, that allows users to remotely view live streaming video through the company’s http://www.mydlink.com portal with multi-browser support and while on-the-go with an Apple iPhone app.

After immense success of previously launched ‘mydlink-enabled’ cameras including the D-Link DCS-1100 and the D-Link DCS-1130 wireless camera, the new D-Link DCS-903L Wireless N Network Camera is D-Link’s latest ‘mydlink-enabled’ device  allowing it to be easily and securely viewed and managed via the D-Link’s  mydlink portal, providing customers with an easier way to experience a connected, digital lifestyle.

Unlike a traditional USB-connected webcam, the D-Link DCS-903L Wireless N Network Camera is a complete system with a built-in CPU and web server allowing it to transmit high quality video images for security and surveillance directly to the network without the need for a PC.

The D-Link DCS-903L Wireless N Network Camera offers a simple installation and an intuitive web-based interface that allows easy integration with any existing wired or 802.11N wi-fi network and the device also comes with D-Link’s D-ViewCam camera management software which includes recording and motion detection features for a complete and cost-effective home monitoring solution.

Due the D-Link DCS-903L camera’s small footprint and easy installation, users are offered a discreet and flexible way to check on their home, children or pets in real time from virtually anywhere with Internet access or within the customer’s mobile network.

Users can also view a live feed from any of the “mydlink” family of cameras using the mydlink portal from their iPhone smartphone using an downlodable iPhone app and for added convenience, users can view a live feed from the cameras using any 3G-enabled cell phone, PDA or any compatible 3GPP RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol) mobile streaming capable device.
