Google has upgraded the Google Maps version to 4.6.The updated version, Google Maps 4.6 has come up with two new features for Place page:
1- Enhanced design for Place page reviews
2- Filter search results at Place page
Enhanced design for Place page reviews allows the user to see reviews from Google users and around the web and Filter search results at Place page allows filter results by distance, rating, neighborhood, establishment location, open now, and related searches.
A Real-time updating option is also aviable as an experimental social feature to view a friends profile page and meet up with them by temporarily seeing faster updates. Real-time updating works only if your friends has Android 2.2 and the latest Google Maps installed.
