LG Optimus One sold more than 1 million units in 40 days

LG has announced that its affordable Android smartphone LG Optimus One has sold more than one million units in 40 days after its launch. LG Optimus One is so popular because it runs Android 2.2 OS.

LG Optimus One features a 3.1 megapixel camera with face and smile detection, 3.2-inch touchscreen display, 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7627 processor and 1500 mAh battery.


LG Optimus One is also known as Optimus T (T Mobiles), Optimus S (Sprint), LG Vortex (Verizon) in the US. LG Optimus One is priced at $300 without contract. LG Optimus One is available in US, UK and Asia Pacific.
